CPDC
Rules and regulations: Abbreviation of CPDC is College planning and development council, concerned Government College. It is established in the name of College planning and development council, concerned Government Degree College as per resolution of staff council.
CONSTITITION OF CPDC:
- The Principal (President) well nominate all members in consolation with the staff council of the college.
- The president nominated three lectures as members.
- The Members will elect the Secretary of the CPDC.
- The term of a member on the committee is for two years.
- The Principal and Lecturer maybe transferred or retired. The new Principal will automatically become the President. The Parent member will lose his or her membership when the students of their ward are completed their course. The vacancies of members will be filled in by the President from time to time.
OBJECTIVES :
- To create an apt environment for community participation in the planning and development of Government college without interfering with their rules and regulations of functioning.
- To create public contributions for the development of Government colleges.
- To act as an active medium between the college and the community for mutual benefit.
- To help creating the right climate for academic, cultural, social service oriented activities in the college for the benefit of the student.
POWERS AND FUNCTIONS OF THE CPDC:
- To work for the improvement of the objective of the CPDC.
- To manage the CPDC and to decide on admission of members and filling of casual vacancies.
- To open separate account for CPDC in a nationalised bank for operating money matters.
- To prepare a detailed plan, with annual budgetary allocations and to execute developmental programmes
