1.  The Department of Mathematics of Government Degree College, Gummalaxmipuram organize Birthday celebrations of Srinivasa Ramanujan as National Mathematics Day on 22nd December every year .In this programme we create awareness about  importance of Mathematics and contribution of great Mathematician to Mathematics among the students

2. The staff of Department of Mathematics deliver lectures on Analytical skills as life skills course in 1 semester every year. It helps the students to improve arthematical ability and logical thinking .
